Is imitation the sincerest form of flattery? Or should I send out the dogs?

Looks like writer Casey N. Cep found some inspiration in my piece published in the Village Voice earlier this week for her piece in the New Yorker published yesterday.

My piece (published 1/13/14): Statistical Proof That New Yorkers are A-holes When Compared with Midwesterns

http://blogs.villagevoice.com/forkintheroad/2014/01/polar_vortex_tipping_statistics_nyc.php

Her piece (published 1/16/14): Bitter Weather, Sweet Tips

It’s every man for himself in the dog eat dog world of food journalism… I guess?

Update: Casey wrote to me and said she’s been working on the piece since January 8th. Oh well. I guess there’s enough space in the world for two pieces about Grubhub Seamless polar vortex tipping.

Whatcha thinking?
